A full range of services available at Darling Island Apartments ensures you are well looked after.

BUILDING MANAGEMENT

A full-time Building Manager is employed by the Owners Corporation, through a specialist company, and is on site during normal working hours. The Building Manager ensures that the many services and facilities which support a complex of this size are properly maintained and that the appearance of the complex and its common areas is of a high standard.

CONCIERGE

A friendly and professional concierge is the first point of contact for residents, visitors and all service providers. Most courier and Australia post parcel deliveries are signed for by the Concierge and either delivered to your apartment or retained securely awaiting collection. The Concierge manages security access and parking for approved visitors, tradespeople and cleaners. All concierge staff are first-aid trained and can assist residents in an emergency.

BUILDING SECURITY

Safety and security is the number one priority for Darling Island Apartment residents. Darling island Apartments feature multi-layer security monitoring systems which includes Closed Circuit Television monitoring of internal common areas as well as external monitoring of access lobbies. Movement of residents and visitors is managed by an electronic access system which operates on a lift lobby and floor basis, such that access to a particular floor is limited to the residents. A controlled keying system for apartment entry doors ensures that opportunities for duplication are minimised.

CLEANING SERVICE

Residents of Darling Island Apartments have a strong expectation that the internal common areas and the external appearance of the complex are maintained to a high standard. A highly reputable specialist cleaning company is contracted by the Owners Corporation to provide cleaners on a seven days per week basis.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Recycling and garbage disposal facilities are located in each lift lobby. Recycling bins are cleared daily by the cleaner. Disposal of large items including eWaste is managed by the Concierge service.

PREFERRED CONTRACTORS

To assist residents and owners, the Owners Corporation has negotiated special rates for some services regularly required by residents. Work is currently underway to expand the number of trades covered by blanket pricing agreements. Currently the preferred trades contracts cover:

  • Air-conditioning units in apartments
  • Window and balustrade cleaning
  • Plumbing
